These easy tacos are a great recipe to add to your “taco Tuesday” rotation. Change up your regular ground beef tacos with these ground pork tacos instead! Slightly spiced and really flavorful, these are a quick and easy recipe that the whole family will love.

How to make these easy pork tacos

This recipe is very simple to make! Here is a brief overview of the recipe to give you an idea of how it works. For the full set of directions and measurements, please make sure you scroll down to the recipe card below!

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 Tablespoon oil to heat.
  2. When hot, add the ground pork and using a wooden spoon to carefully break up into small chunks.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoning, dried onion flakes, brown sugar, and tomato paste over top and mix in thoroughly. Pour in the broth.
  4. Cook, stirring frequently and breaking up any big chunks, until the ground pork is cooked through all the way and is no longer pink.
  5. Serve immediately.

How to serve these tacos

Serve these with cotija cheese, shredded cabbage, pickled red onions , seasoned black beans, and avocado crema! And if you want to make them really special, try making your own homemade sourdough tortillas!

Storage Information

Leftover ground pork can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 3 Tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 Tablespoons mexican seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
  • ¼ cup reduced salt chicken broth
