Welcome to the Thrive At Five Weekly Meal Plan!
If knowing what to make for your family has utterly stressed you out, then I am here to solve your dinner dilemma! Each week I team up with an awesome group of bloggers who are dedicated to bringing you a healthy-ish, easy, seasonally appropriate meal plan. The Thrive At Five Meal Plan is developed specifically for busy families who want awesome food but are short on time!
This week’s meal plan is filled with so many awesome flavors and different kinds of cuisines!
Here is your May Meal Plan for Week 1
How It Works:
- Every Friday morning a new meal plan will be published with 5 dinners plus 2 extras (like a side, dessert, or special beverage). Come check it out as needed throughout the week or sign up here to have it sent directly to your email inbox!
- All the meals are perfect for busy families – they focus mostly on seasonal whole food dinners (but occasionally something “unhealthy” sneaks in – we aren’t super sticklers here). And desserts don’t count as healthy, because they just shouldn’t.
- Because these are seasonal meal plans based on the month of year, I will be numbering them 1,2,3, etc. based on what week of the month it is, so you will always be able to find awesome meals easily. Go HERE to find even more meal plans!
Thrive At Five Meal Plan – May Meal Plan Week 1
MONDAY – Spiced Chickpea Burgers – Hello Meatless Monday! You can either cook dried chickpeas or go ahead and sue a can of them – it will work just as well either way. These patties also freeze well, too, so keep an extra batch ready for super easy lunches and dinners! Served with a side salad and a simple veggie.
TUESDAY – Spinach and Sausage One Pan Alfredo – This 30 minute one pan meal is sure to be a family favorite! Serve with a side salad for an easy weeknight meal.
WEDNESDAY – Masaman Beef Curry – One of my favorite meals! This 30 minute meal is so easy for a weeknight meal and perfectly delicious! Even the kids will love it! Serve with jasmine rice and/or naan.
THURSDAY – Chipotle Chicken Tostadas – These are so easy and so delicious!
FRIDAY – Sheet Pan London Broil with Asparagus and Potatoes – This steak and potatoes meal is seriously SO easy and only takes about 40 minutes (most of which is hands-off work!). A perfect meal for a Friday night!
Breakfast Banana Split – Ice Cream for breakfast?! What?! Your kids will think they are in heaven. But there is a healthy twist to this!
Mango Lassi No Bake Cheesecake – This tropical cheesecake is easy to make and a lovely way to usher in warmer weather!
