Each week I team up with an awesome group of bloggers who are dedicated to bringing you a healthy-ish, easy, seasonally appropriate meal plan that is developed specifically for busy families who want awesome food but are short on time!
Heeelllooo April! I seriously could not be happier to see spring finally roll around! I am so ready to jump into my garden, spruce up my backyard, and spend all my time on my deck. This week we have a great selection of meals for you! A few of them will require some planning on your behalf, so make sure you take a look at each and figure out where they will best fit into your schedule.

How It Works:
- Every Friday morning a new meal plan will be published with 5 dinners plus 2 extras (like a side, dessert, or special beverage). Come check it out as needed throughout the week or sign up here to have it sent directly to your email inbox!
- All the meals are perfect for busy families – they focus mostly on seasonal whole food dinners (but occasionally something “unhealthy” sneaks in – we aren’t super sticklers here). And desserts don’t count as healthy, because they just shouldn’t.
- Because these are seasonal meal plans based on the month of year, I will be numbering them 1,2,3, etc. based on what week of the month it is, so you will always be able to find awesome meals easily. Go HERE to find even more meal plans!
Thrive At Five Weekly Meal Plan – April Week 1
MONDAY – Cajun Roasted Vegetables with Cheesy Grits – Take Meatless Monday to a whole new level with these amazingly spiced vegetarian take on shrimp and grits. (You could totally add in some shrimp, too, if you want!)
TUESDAY – Bolognaise Sauce with Pasta – Make this on Sunday as this does take about 2 hours to make. But your time will be totally rewarded with this hearty and flavorful meal! Serve with pasta and a simple salad or vegetable.
WEDNESDAY – Italian Sausage and Veggie Sheet Pan Dinner – Weeknight dinners don’t get easier than a good sheet pan meal! Throw all the things on a rimmed baking sheet and let the oven do the work!
THURSDAY – Chicken Stuffed Sweet Potatoes – This easy meal is super versatile, and packed with flavor! It will definitely be a new favorite!
FRIDAY – Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili – A perfect easy meal for the end of the week! Full of great flavors your family will love!
Easy Roasted Green Beans – Take those plain veggies and kick them up a notch! These green beans are so easy, yet so flavorful! They will quickly become a new favorite!
Banana Nutella Milkshake – You only need a few ingredients to make this sweet treat that adults and kids alike will love!
