This no-bake recipe for Swedish Chocolate Balls (also known as Chokladbollar), is very simple to make, and the perfect make-ahead dessert that you can do with a child.
1/2 cup butter, room temp
1 cup sugar
3 cups rolled oats
1 tsp vanilla
3 TBSP cocoa
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 TBS strong coffee
1/2 cup coconut flakes
In a food process, combine the butter, sugar, oats, vanilla, cocoa and coffee until combined.
Using a measuring Tablespoon, measure out balls of dough and roll into the coconut.
Place on a rimmed baking sheet lined with a silat.
Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
