the gingered whisk

Bacon wrapped dates are a great combination of sweet and salty. Made with just two or three ingredients and a few minutes, this simple appetizer is always a huge hit at parties. PREHEAT & PREP

2. Optional: Add goat cheese to each date, cut bacon strips in half, wrap each half around a date, secure with a toothpick, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet (with rims to catch bacon grease).

ASSEMBLE

3. Bake for 15 minutes, turning the dates over halfway through, or until the bacon is golden brown.
