This easy Frikadellen recipe is a simple German Meat Patty. The pre-cursor to a hamburger, these open faced sandwiches are a great addition to a weeknight meal or an easy way to celebrate Octoberfest!

Ground Beef & Pork

Key Ingredients

1. Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.

HEAT THE PAN

2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the finely chopped onion, breadcrumbs, ground beef, ground pork, eggs, mustard, parsley, marjoram, salt and pepper, and paprika.

COMBINE & MIX WELL

3. When well mixed, divide the meat mixture into 14-16 equal sized meatballs.
