Sourdough  Crescent Rolls

These sourdough crescent rolls are a great use of sourdough discard. An easy and quick sourdough recipe, these  make a great snack or addition to any meal!

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Preheat & Whisk:

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.

3. Cut or rub in the butter until coarse.

Cut in the Butter:

4. Mix in the sourdough starter and stir together to make a soft dough.

Mix In:

5. Gently knead the dough for about a minute.

Knead the Dough:

6. Divide the dough in half, and on a floured surface, roll each half out into a 9" circle.

Divide & Roll:

7. Cut each circle into 6 wedges (so 12 wedges total).

Cut Wedges:

8. Roll up, starting from the big bottom and ending at the small point).

Roll Up:

9. Place on a baking sheet, forming a crescent, and bake for 12 minutes.
