This no-bake recipe for Swedish Chocolate Coconut Balls (also known as Chokladbollar), is very simple to make, and the perfect make-ahead dessert that you can do with a child.

– 1/2 cup butter, room temp – 1 cup sugar – 3 cups rolled oats – 1 tsp vanilla – 3 TBSP cocoa – 1/4 tsp sea salt – 2 TBS strong coffee – 1/2 cup coconut flakes

1. In a food process, combine the butter, sugar, oats, vanilla, cocoa and coffee until combined.


2. Using a measuring Tablespoon, measure out balls of dough and roll into the coconut.


3. Place on a rimmed baking sheet lined with a silat.


4. Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
