Sourdough Starter

Key Ingredient

1. In the bowl of a stand mixer with a dough hook, combine the whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, part of the water, active sourdough starter, honey, and salt.

PREP THE DOUGH

2. Mix the dough on low speed until incorporated, about 2-minutes.

MIX ON LOW

3. Switch to the dough hook and mix on medium speed for 4-5 minutes until the dough clumps around the hook and starts to strengthen. It should be strong but still a bit shaggy. If the dough isn't medium soft, add extra water gradually and mix until it reaches the desired consistency.–
