Strawberry Napoleon is a classic French dessert made from layers of flaky puff pastry, homemade pastry cream and fresh strawberries. This dessert looks fancy, but is simple and perfect for kids to help make!
2. Thaw puff pastry and cut each sheet into 12 rectangles. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden. Cool on a wire rack. For even layers, place parchment and a second baking sheet on top while baking, removing the weights for the last 5 minutes.
3. Slice puff pastry into top and bottom pieces. Choose 2 or 3 layers for your napoleon, using flat pieces for the middle layers. Place bottom pieces on a platter, fill with pastry cream, and top with sliced strawberries.
