Chocolate Tres Leches cake is a rich, moist chocolate cake soaked in three milks and topped with a chocolate whipped cream topping. This chocolate version of the popular Latin American treat is a fun and easy dessert your family will love.

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking pan. In a medium bowl, whisk cake flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, powder, and salt.

PREP THE CAKE

2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla until combined.

WHISK TOGETHER

3. Add the flour mixture into the milk mixture and gently stir with a rubber spatula until combined, being careful not to overmix the batter.

ADD

4. Pour into the prepared 9×13 pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the center springs back when lightly pressed and a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out mostly clean. (While the cake is baking, make the milk filling).
