Easy Creamy Jambalaya Pasta

Creamy jambalaya pasta is a flavorful family friendly twist on the classic Jambalaya. Chicken and sausage are cooked with peppers, onions and tomatoes and seasoned with cajun spices before being tossed with penne pasta and a cheesy sauce made with milk.

Key Ingredient

1. In a large Dutch oven over medium heat, melt the butter. Add in the diced peppers and onions and sauté, stirring frequently, until the veggies are soft, about 5–10 minutes. Remove the veggies to a bowl and set aside.

2. To the pan, add the diced chicken and sliced sausage. Sautee, stirring frequently, until browned. The chicken does not need to be cooked all the way though at this point as it will continue to cook.

ADD CHICKEN & SAUSAGE

3. Stir in the minced garlic and Cajun seasoning.
