Camp'Oro Le Aromatiche Black Squid Ink Tagliatelle Italian Pasta
Ingredients
1
lb
squid ink pasta
1
lb
ground beef
1
Tablespoon
dried minced onion
1
Tablespoon
Italian herb seasoning mix
4
ounces
Cielegine Mozzarella
1/3 ounce "Cherry sized"
2
ounces
sliced black olives
24
ounces
marinara sauce
Instructions
Make the beef ragu
Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add 1 Tablespoon of oil.
Add the ground beef to the pan and use a wooden spoon to break up the beef.
Cook, stirring frequently, until the beef has cooked through and is no longer pink.
Drain any grease from the pan and add in the dried minced onion and Italian seasoning.
Pour in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes, allowing the sauce to heat and the flavors to come together.
Cook the pasta
Cook the pasta according to package directions.
Drain, and return the noodles to the pan.
Toss with olive oil.
Assemble
To assemble the pasta, divide the black noodles equally between the plates.
Top the pasta with the beef ragu mixture.
Slice the mozzarella balls into slices lengthwise to make nice circles.
Arrange a few of the mozzarella slices onto the top of the ragu.
Place black olive slices on top of the mozzarella slices to create “eyeballs”.
Serve immediately.
