maple syrup

dried thyme

ground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Peel the rutabaga and dice to 1" cubes.
Place the diced rutabaga in a large sized mixing bowl.
Add the melted butter, maple syrup, thyme, and salt and pepper to the bowl and toss to coat.
Evenly distribute the rutabaga cubes on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Stir the rutabaga, then return the pan to the oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until the rutabaga is fork soft and golden brown.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
