Ingredients
64ouncesapple cider
15ouncespumpkin puree
2cupsapricot nectar
⅓cupbrown sugar
2teaspoonspumpkin pie spice mix
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar Rim
1teaspoongranulated sugar
¼teaspoonpumpkin pie spice mix
water
Instructions
In a large saucepan, combine the cider, pumpkin puree, apricot nectar, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice.
Whisk together until combined.
Heat over medium heat, just until it reaches a simmer and all the ingredients combine well. This helps all the flavors blend together really well.
Pour into a large pitcher with a lid and chill in the refrigerator.
Before serving, stir or whisk really well.
To make these extra fun and fancy, we always serve with a rim of cinnamon sugar!
Mix the cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice together in a small bowl. You can use plain ground cinnamon, too, but I find the pumpkin pie spice adds extra flavor that I love.
Pour some cinnamon sugar onto a plate.
Place a small amount of water onto another plate. You don’t need much, just enough to barely wet the rim of your glass.
Turn the glass upside down and dip the edge of your glass into the water, shake off any excess, and then dip into the cinnamon sugar.
Fill the glass with ice. Carefully ladle (or use a funnel) the pumpkin juice into the glass.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Stored in an airtight pitcher in the fridge, this drink will be good for 2-3 days. Go ahead and make it the day before your party! Make sure you give it a good stir or shake before serving, as the pumpkin and spices can settle while it sits.Serve cold or warm.
