Ingredients

cups
flour
2
cups
buttermilk
1
cup
sourdough starter
2
TBSP
sugar
2
eggs
¼
cup
melted butter
1
tsp
baking soda
¾
tsp
salt
2
tsp
vanilla
Instructions
In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, buttermilk and sourdough starter.
Cover and let sit overnight (or 8-12 hours).
In a small bowl, mix together the eggs, melted butter.
Mix in the liquid with the sponge.
Whisk in the salt, baking soda, spices, vanilla and toasted pecans.
Preheat your waffle iron.
Cook according to your waffle iron's directions.
Top with butter and maple syrup and Enjoy!
