Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Pizza
Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Pizza is a delicious and easy weeknight dinner! Pizza crust is topped with your favorite barbeque sauce, chopped chicken, sweet pineapple, red onion, cilantro, and mozzarella cheese before being cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

boneless chicken breast

store bought pizza dough
defrosted if frozen

barbecue sauce

shredded mozzarella cheese

diced pineapple
fresh or canned

thinly sliced red onion
Fresh cilantro

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with foil.
Grease a small baking dish.
Add chicken to the baking dish.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Bake chicken for 10 to 15 minutes,and then add bacon in a single layer to the lined baking sheet and place that in the oven, too.
Bake for 10 to 15 an additional minutes or until the bacon is browned and almost crispy and the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 F.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.
Crumble the bacon into small pieces. Dice the chicken into bite sized cubes.
To assemble the pizza, roll pizza dough out until it’s 12 inches in diameter.
Place it on a greased pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush olive oil all over the top of the dough, from edge to edge.
Pour BBQ sauce in the center of the dough. Using the back of a spoon, spread the sauce around the dough, leaving ½-inch of space from the edge.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
Then add the diced chicken and crumbled bacon.
Add pieces of pineapple and red onion throughout.
Bake the pizza for 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Garnish with fresh cilantro just before serving.
Cut into 8 slices and enjoy.
Notes
Leftover pizza can be stored in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer until warmed through.
