Ingredients

oil

ground pork

tomato paste

mexican seasoning

brown sugar

teaspoons
dried onion flakes

reduced salt chicken broth
For Serving
tortillas
cotija cheese
pickled red onions
seasoned black beans
avocado crema
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 Tablespoon oil to heat.
When hot, add the ground pork and using a wooden spoon to carefully break up into small chunks.
Sprinkle the Mexican seasoning, dried onion flakes, brown sugar, and tomato paste over top and mix in thoroughly. Pour in the broth.
Cook, stirring frequently and breaking up any big chunks, until the ground pork is cooked through all the way and is no longer pink.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Leftover ground pork can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
