Turkish Pide Bread

Turkish pide bread is a soft and fluffy bread that is easy to make at home. This bread is made in under two hours and is topped with an egg wash and sesame seeds. A perfect bread for kids to make!

All-Purpose Flour

Key Ingredient

1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the milk, water, olive oil, salt sugar, yeast, and egg white. Mix until combined.

COMBINE & MIX

2. Add the flour in batches until a soft dough forms. It will be quite sticky and that is perfect!

ADD IN BATCHES

3. Cover with a tea towel and allow to rest for 30-minutes.

REST

4. Generously flour the counter and dump the dough out. Knead for a few minutes, until you get a nice soft dough.

KNEAD

5. Divide the dough into eight equal portions and shape each portion into a ball. Cover with the tea towel and allow to rest for 20-minutes.
