“My kids had a blast trying new foods and helping out in the kitchen!⠀We can’t wait to try our next kit!” – Melissa

Hi, I’m Jenni

I understand what it’s like to want more from your dinner.

As a mother of three  young kids, dinner time always seems to be  when I am most exhausted.

I struggled to balance quick meals the kids would eat with the exciting and delicious food I wanted to eat.

Being stuck in the land of bland and boring “kid food” is something I definitely didn’t want.

I firmly believe that ALL food can be kid-friendly – after all, kids all around the world eat the foods they are raised on! This is why I developed the Foodie Family Passport Kits, to help families enjoy amazing meals together, easily!

“If you are looking for a fun way for your family to try new foods and learn about another country, this is the way to go!” – Kathleen

These might not be right for you IF …

  • Your family has a lot of food allergies/sensitivities/intolerances/extreme picky eating due to physical ailments.

“My husband and I made the Malaysia kit together, and it was so much fun! We sat down to eat our first course of the Chicken Satay and Malaysia Fried Rice and were “Mmmm”-ing and “OMG this is so good”-ing all through the meal. Then we went back to the kitchen to make the Pulled Tea and Banana Fritters for dessert. You haven’t lived until you’ve poured hot liquid between two saucepans for three minutes! Lol. Seriously, so fun—and frothy! That was the BEST black tea I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to try more of these kits. – Holly

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to make these meals?

These meals are meant to be made quickly so you can enjoy them any time. Most meals take between 30 and 60 minutes (some are shorter, some are longer), but this kit isn’t meant to keep you in the kitchen all day long! Each kit comes with a cooking timeline so you can easily determine when to cook each item.

Do we need special equipment of ingredients?

All recipes use common, easy to find ingredients and standard kitchen utensils, so you shouldn’t need anything you can’t find at your grocery store and kitchen already!

What ages of kids are these cooking kits for?

Kids aged 5-12 will enjoy these kits, although kids older and younger can still participate, too! There are cooking steps for kids aged as young as 2 for most recipes, so even little siblings can find some way to participate.

Are these only for families of young kids?

Absolutely not! These are for everyone to enjoy! If your family consists of you and your dog, go for it! If your family is just you and your partner, these are also really fun to explore new cuisines with! Even without kids, you will still get so much out of these kits!

How will we remember to do these without the physical boxes sitting in our way?

Well, that’s up to you! As part of the preparation section in the kit, I give recommendations for how and when to schedule this activity. Put it on your calendar right away!

Can we reuse these?

Of course! Print these off and stick them into a menu folder, laminate them, or view them over and over on your laptop or iPad.
