Kids Books About Asian Food

Save and share!

Reading is one of the best ways to open doorways to new and wondrous things. Use these beautiful kids books about food to help introduce Asian cuisine to your kids. A great way to help toddlers and preschoolers combat picky eating.

One of my favorite ways to help kids become more curious and interested in food is actually outside of the kitchen! Reading books around new foods is a great way to help kids be more comfortable with the idea of new foods and interested in trying them!

Here is a list of my favorite kids picture books that feature Asian cuisine.

How to help your kids try new foods

Want to avoid picky eating? Its all about exposure and curiosity! The more fun and interesting you can get something to be, the more likely kids are to want to try it.

Getting your kids involved in helping you bake and cook is important, but helping your kids be curious about what they are trying outside the kitchen helps, too!

Food related activities like restaurant dramatic play, tv shows with food, and books are also so helpful in helping your kids be curious about food. And when they are curious, they are more likely to try it!

Make sure you also read my guide on how to teach kids to love international food.
