This easy baked parmesan crusted chicken is a quick and easy win for dinner! Tender, moist baked chicken is coated with a flavorful marinade and coated with seasoned breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. A pantry staple dinner your family will love!

Because who doesn’t love when making dinner takes literally 10 minutes of prep work, and has only 5 real food ingredients? Everyone, that’s who.

This amazing chicken is utterly perfect for whether you need a weeknight meal or when you have guests over for a dinner party. You probably already have all the ingredients you need, and you can get this on the table in about 20 minutes! We have this in regular rotation on our meal plan, and I know you will love it just as much!

How to make baked chicken with parmesan crust

This weeknight dinner is so easy to make, after a while you won’t even need to look at a recipe for it! For the full set of directions, please make sure you scroll down to the recipe card below.

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the greek yogurt and parmesan.
  4. Place chicken on the baking sheet and top evenly with the greek yogurt mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoned bread crumbs on top.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165 F.
  7. Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.

This recipe is PERFECT for beginning junior chefs to make because it is easy and has such few, simple steps. Here is how kids can help you:

  • Kids aged 1-3 can help you measure all the ingredients, and mix together the greek yogurt and parmesan
  • Kids aged 4-6 can do everything above, plus help grate the parmesan and layer the ingredients on the chicken.
  • Kids aged 7-10+ can help you do everything above! In fact, let them do everything!

  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup grated real parmesan cheese
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 4 tsp Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs or plain bread crumbs with a little dried parsley, rosemary and thyme leaf thrown in there.


  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  • Place chicken on a baking sheet and top evenly with the greek yogurt mixture.
