Strawberry, Avocado and Bacon Salad with Creamy Dressing

Strawberry, Avocado and Bacon Salad with Creamy Dressing (The Gingered Whisk)
We are thoroughly enjoying a nice cool day today! So far the summer has been hot and rainy, rainy and hot. It hasn’t given us much opportunity to play outside or do much of anything lately. But today was a gorgeous 73 degrees and partially cloudy! I have celebrated by having all the windows open (well, the windows that I can get open in our 100 year old house) and spending a few hours at the park. It has been perfectly lovely, and Ladybug definitely enjoyed her time playing outside!

This salad was super delicious and pretty much perfect. I was worried while making the salad dressing that it was too tangy, but it worked fantastically well with the rest of the ingredients. We loved the combination of the salty bacon, cool creamy avocado and juicy strawberries. Dinner was pretty quiet this evening as we were all stuffing our faces and not talking.
