How to make strawberry avocado salad
This recipe is very simple to make! Here is a brief overview of the recipe to give you an idea of how it works. For the full set of directions and measurements, please make sure you scroll down to the recipe card below!
Cook the bacon.
- Start by cooking the bacon until crisp. I like to bake mine on a rimmed baking sheet (affiliate link) for about 15 minutes at a 400 degree oven. You want it to be just crunchy.
- Remove to a plate lined with a paper towel and allow to cool.
- When the bacon is cool, crumble.
Mix the dressing.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the greek yogurt, mayonnaise, white vinegar, sugar, poppy seeds and salt and pepper.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.
Serve the salad.
- Wash, hull, and quarter the strawberries.
- Dice the avocado.
- Combine the spinach and lettuce and divide between the plates.
- Top each plate with equal portions of the crumbed bacon, quartered strawberries, diced avocados, and the sliced almonds.
- Drizzle on the dressing and enjoy!
