Similar to a regular coleslaw, except with a Latin American flair to it. This is a great kid friendly addition to many meals!

This recipe is great because it is so quick and easy to make, which means it is perfect for busy weeknights.

It only takes 10 minutes to prepare, and is best when you give it 10-20 minutes to set before you eat it so the flavors can properly meld. The longer you give it, the better it will be, but 10 minutes is plenty!

Prepping ahead of time

While this slaw is best when it is fresh, you can also store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This makes it an easy recipe to prepare meals for the week.

You can also prepare the marinade in advance and toss it in the cabbage the day you are ready to eat.

How to serve this to your family
