Barbecue Chicken Meatloaf
Barbeque chicken meatloaf is a flavorful and moist weeknight dinner recipe. Ground chicken is combined with spices, breadcrumbs, and your favorite barbecue sauce to create a chicken meatloaf recipe that is simple and delicious. A perfect comfort food the whole family will love.

How to make this meatloaf
This easy ground chicken recipe is perfect for weeknight meals! For the full set of directions, please scroll down to the recipe card below.
- Preheat the oven to 425 F degrees and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, panko bread crumbs, freshly grated parmesan cheese, egg, 1/4 cup barbecue sauce, Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined, do not over mix.
- Place the meatloaf mixture onto the prepared baking pan, spreading it in a thin log about 4″ across and the length of the baking dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes, and then brush the top of the meatloaf with the remaining barbecue sauce. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until an internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F with a meat thermometer.
- Let the meatloaf rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy!
Prepping ahead of time
This ground chicken meatloaf is a great prep ahead meal. It reheats really well, which makes it perfect for busy nights.
Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave until warm, about 1 minute.

Ingredients
- 2 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup barbecue sauce divided
- 1 cup unseasoned panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions

Loved this and will definitely make again! Maybe it’s my oven, but it took about 15 minutes longer to cook than the recipe says.
