Kids love to dip food! And it’s no wonder why – dips are awesome! They add great color, texture, and flavors to a meal and help to round it out.

But many kids get stuck at ranch and ketchup. I mean, both are great, but there is a whole world of awesome dips out there! 

Introducing this lemon herb tahini sauce to your family meals is a great way to expand your dipping palate. Bright and flavorful from fresh herbs and lemon, with a hint of nuttiness from the tahini sauce, this is a great dip your kids will love!

How to make this tahini sauce

This sauce is so simple and easy to make! For the full recipe, make sure you scroll down to the recipe card below.

  1. Place the tahini sauce, herbs, lemon zest and juice, water, garlic, salt, and olive oil into a food processor.
  2. Pulse until well combined. The herbs will not fully break down but will get into small pieces. 
  3. If you want it thinner, add 1 Tablespoon of water.

Storage Information

Store this tahini sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup tahini
  • ½ cup cilantro leaves
  • ½ cup parsley leaves
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • 1 lemon zest and juice

  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
