They pair great with more heavily spiced dishes like chicken tikka masala because they help to take out some of the heat and refresh the palate. Another great palate refresher is the cucumber raita.

Mango lassi is a super simple recipe to make! There are basically three steps:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a blender.
  2. Process until smooth.
  3. Enjoy!

 

*Note: You can use either fresh or frozen mango!

This mango lassi is so simple to make that you don’t really need to make it ahead of time! You can keep it in the fridge for up to 3 days in an air tight container, too!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 cups cubed mango, either fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingreidents to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!

Notes

This drink can be stored in the fridge in an air-tight container for upto 3 days.
